Students are introduced to the basic concepts of mechanics including vectors, space and time, linear and circular motion, mass (force, gravity, static and dynamic), energy, momentum, torque and fluids (density, pressure, fluid motion and viscosity). Three hours lecture, three hours integrated lab. Prerequisites: MAT 117, 130 or 131. Offered fall. 4 credits
