An instructor-director graduate level course of study that helps the student explore the limits of clay, work toward a significant degree of growth, be innovative and creative, and gain insight and personal experience of ceramic process and technique. Traditional and contemporary approaches to clay will be demonstrated. Primary focus will be on ceramic objects, both functional and sculptural. Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: Admission to Master of Arts in Art Education program. Notes: Open to Upperclass and Graduate Students Credits: 2 hours
