This course is designed to provide students with the basic understanding of the mammalian immune system at cellular and molecular levels. This course also covers the role of the immune system both in health and disease, and explores the applications of immunological concepts in a variety of biological and biomedical sciences. Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: BIOS 3120; Biochemistry is recommended. Notes: The prerequisites to 5000-level courses are: Junior/Senior standing and at least 12 credits in biology including the specific prerequisite for each course.
