This course provides an introduction, discussion and analysis of the anatomy, physiology, molecular biology and disease states of developed sensory systems identified in the human body and other animals. Recent sensory systems articles will be utilized to critique, strengthen student’s scientific reading skills, scientific writing skills and presentation skills. This course is approved to cover the capstone requirement for the Biology and Biomedical Sciences majors. Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: BIOS 2400 or 3500 or permission of instructor.
