The theory and fundamental principles of chemistry are emphasized in this foundation course which serves primarily those who intend to enroll for more than two semesters of chemistry. Students well prepared may earn credit by taking an examination. Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: One year of high school chemistry and either MATH 1110 or equivalent performance on math placement examination. Students should concurrently enroll in CHEM 1110. (To count for general education credit, both CHEM 1100 and 1110 must be passed.) Credits: 3 hours
