An introduction to the art of modern dance, designed for dance majors and minors, primarily concerned with development of technique. The emphasis is placed on alignment, range of movement, dynamic quality, rhythmic accuracy and the application of kinesiological principles. Students will continue in DANC 1300 until advanced to DANCE 2300 by the instructor. Repeatable for credit. Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: Advisor approval. Credits: 2 hours
