ED 4700 - Intern Teaching:Early Childhood

Only for seniors who have been admitted to teacher education. This internship is required a semester or session prior to the full semester internship. This experience consists of five half-days per week in a fall or spring semester or five full days per week in a summer session in a pre-kindergarten program. Students will synthesize the knowledge, apply the understandings, and practice the skills which they acquired during University course work. They will participate in all phases of the school program where they are assigned. To be undertaken concurrently with ED 4090. Graded on a Credit/No Credit basis. Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: Program requirements must be completed prior to Intern Teaching. Credits: 5 hours
