This course provides students with basic skills needed for gaining access to economics databases and for using data management programs on personal and mainframe computers. It provides instruction and lab experience in transferring files and performing operations widely employed by economists. Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: ECON 4030, 4060, or permission of instructor. Notes: Undergraduate students wishing to take 5000-level courses must be of junior or senior standing and have 12 or more credit hours of economics or the consent of the department chairperson.
