Introduction to color management, color science and color imaging technologies. The course covers the basics of color reproduction for printing. It deals with RGB, CMYK and CIE color models. A large focus of the course is practical color management as practiced in the industry today. An ICC workflow and ICC profiles will be constructed and analysed. Profiles for scanners, monitors and printers will be made. Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: IMAG 1570, IMAG 2510. Credits: 3 hours Lab Hours: (2 to 3)
