A study and application of the art of arranging for the jazz ensemble, studio orchestra and show orchestra. The course will undertake a detailed study of scoring for winds, brass, strings, voices and percussion in relation to traditional and contemporary trends within the medium. Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: MUS 5550 and MUS 2640 or concurrently. Notes: Open to Upperclass and Graduate Students Credits: 2 hours
