This course will allow the student to critically read, analyze, and understand current U.S. policy in health and human services and to understand how these policies affect specific people in the community. Students will write advocacy letters, explanations (at the appropriate level of understanding) and recommendations for potential revisions of current health policies. Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: Completion of Proficiency 1 with a grade of "C" or better. Limited to students in the Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Health Services program. Credits: 3 hours
