This course will examine procedures for projecting revenues, the extent to which tax policies affect private contributions to nonprofits, and the process for developing budgets. Line item and alternative budget formats will also be considered. An ability to use spreadsheets (e.g., Excel or Lotus) is strongly recommended. Notes: Undergraduates with senior status in appropriate major fields may enroll in 5000-level courses with prior approval of the student's advisor or with the consent of the program director.
