Independent study is for those students who have attained a degree of competence in philosophy and wish to embark upon a project to be carried out without the usual close guidance of the instructor in the classroom. Independent study may not be elected as a substitute for a regularly scheduled course. Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisite: Permission of the instructor with whom the student wishes to work.
