A study of the requirements for, and the limits on, the exercise of administrative powers by public officials charged with regulating significant aspects of the social and economic life of the nation. Special attention is paid to the extent of governmental regulations and the means of safeguarding individual rights through fair administrative procedures and judicial control over administrative determination. Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: Junior status and taking PSCI 2000, PSCI 2400 or PSCI 2500, and two additional courses in Political Science. Notes: Undergraduates may enroll in 5000-level courses only after attaining junior status and taking PSCI 2000, PSCI 2400 or PSCI 2500, and two additional courses in Political Science.
