This is the capstone course for Sociology majors. It locates the various theories and methods used in sociology to examine the social world in which we live. The students are expected to critically examine the social world in which we live, the theoretical underpinnings, and the relevant research evidence dealing with several illustrations of social institutions and social processes. This course is approved as a writing-intensive course which may fulfill the baccalaureate-level writing requirement of the student's curriculum. Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: SOC 2820, 2830, 3000, and 3200. Credits: 3 hours
