This course focuses on application of the Clinical Teaching Model to the education of learners with mild and moderate disabilities. Emphasis is placed on instruction and intervention activities for learners with special needs and children at risk for disabilities. Additional topics include: service delivery systems, roles of teachers and ancillary personnel, legal and ethical requirements, and major issues confronting the field of special education. Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: Consent of department and concurrent enrollment in SPED 4040 and SPED 4330. Credits: 3 hours
