This course examines several theoretical perspectives which attempt to explain why students with learning disabilities fail to learn. Within each perspective, the application of selected theories to the Clinical Teaching Model is addressed. Emphasis is placed on the validity of interventions derived from each theory. Prerequisites & Corequisites: Prerequisites: Consent of department and concurrent enrollment in SPED 4800 and SPED 4810. Credits: 3 hours
