This is a mandatory course required by the State Board of Education for all interior design students. It is designed to give the student an in-depth understanding of building codes and the American with Disabilities Guidelines (ADA). This course will teach students about space-planning and material specifications. Basic building construction and fire safety will be addressed. (Prerequisites: BCN 1251C/1251L and IND 2220).
