The focus in this course is on the use of the nursing process to determine the status of individual health patterns, as well as on selected issues affecting health care. Students continue to develop interpersonal and technical nursing skills required to assess, prioritize, and assist individuals to meet their health needs. Clinical laboratory experiences include the College laboratory and selected health care settings. Lecture: 3 hrs; Clinical Lab: 6 hrs. Prerequisites: NR 222 or equivalent; Microbiology.
