Prerequisite: PSY 150. Consideration of psychologically relevant research and theory relating to prejudice and discrimination. Special emphasis given to African American, Asian, Jewish, Latino, and Native American cultures. Topics include institutional racism and discrimination, issues of “reverse discrimination,” culture, ethnicity and language, and historical victims of prejudice and discrimination.
