This course offers an in-depth analysis of all aspects of handling estates in the Probate Court, including the preparation and filing of the necessary documents with the court and the appropriate taxing authorities. Moreover, the student will be introduced to the basic conceptual aspects of estates and trust law covering such topics as the law of wills, family rights, perpetuities, fiduciary powers, guardians and accountings. $42 Lab Fee. 3 sem. hrs. 3 crs.
