The study of laboratory animals as integral parts of biomedical research. Rats, mice, guinea pigs, gerbils, rabbits, hamsters, and other animals will be studied in regard to housing requirements, nutrition, handling and restraint, sex identification and marking, breeding, surgical techniques, anesthesia techniques, injections and blood collecting, diseases, and necropsy.
