This is the capstone course for the math majors. It integrates all the mathematical concepts learned in earlier courses to solve real-world problems. Aspects of model construction and selection will be taught along with the analysis of existing models. Topics may include discrete dynamical systems, model fitting, simulation models, continuous optimization models, and probabilistic models. Prerequisites: CISC/MATH 231 and MATH 350 or MATH 360. (Offered in Spring semesters).
