A review of elementary functions using numerical, graphical and algebraic techniques; limits; derivative and its definition; interpretation of derivatives and their application to problems of optimization. Particular emphasis is given to the use of technology to understand the concepts and to solve real-world problems. Prerequisite: MATH 201 or the equivalent. 4 sem. hr. 4 crs.
