Basic techniques for the disc-jockey, newscaster, interviewer, and commercial announcer. Hands-on training provided with broadcast quality consoles, turntables, microphones, cartridge and open reel tape machines, patch panels; a survey of FCC rules and regulations required for many entry-level positions in radio. Studio lab hours assigned. $100 lab fee. 3 sem. hrs. 3 crs.
