This course provides the student with exposure to and hands-on practice with current, popular wireless, web-based, satellite, cellular and desktop technologies that corporations rely on for the management and delivery of communication to employees, customers, the media and the general public. Students will research, experience and learn the advantages, and disadvantages of webcasting, video conferencing, teleconferencing, net meetings, and PDA’s and will explore the applications of these technologies in the fields of marketing, communications, employee relations, public relations, media relations, investor relations and management. Prerequisites: ENGL 111 and CISC/MATH 120. 3 sem. hrs. 3 crs.
