MTEC 330 - Recording Studio Production Techniques

An advanced course that focuses on the effective and creative use of the recording studio as a tool for music production. Topics include advanced mixing, record mastering, signal processing and special effects used for specific styles of music. Additional topics include project planning and time management in the recording studio. Students develop a portfolio by completing album-quality projects using facilities and techniques appropriate to their projects. Prerequisites: MTEC 301, 220, and 210. $250 lab fee. 3 sem. hrs. 3 crs.
