A course designed to train students in the techniques of financial analysis and decision making in the areas of capital budgeting, risk analysis, business expansion and contraction, and financial planning and forecasting. Cost of capital, discounted cash flow analysis, leasebuy decisions and the use of probability theory in decision making will be presented and applied, along with various approaches in the valuation of the firm, and the analysis of acquisition candidates. Prerequisites: ACCT 120 and FINC 320. Corequisite: ACCT 121. 3 sem. hrs. 3 crs.
