An in-depth focus upon the strategies, programs and actions for mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery which are available for the management of natural and man-made crises. Methods of cooperation, coordination and interaction with federal and state agencies, public and private institutions, citizen organizations, and volunteers are studied and the coordinating processes of the Homeland Security National Response Plan are considered for the corporate security environment. Prerequisite: MGMT 235, or with approval from Program Director. 3 sem. hrs., 3 crs.
