This course will introduce students to Information System threats and vulnerabilities as well as the techniques used to protect the system proactively from both internal and external threats. It will review software and hardware products for system security. Students will complete hands-on assignments for testing and evaluating various techniques. Prerequisite: MATH 116, MATH/CISC 120, CISC 257, or with approval from Program Director. 3 sem. hrs., 3 crs.
