This entry-level course introduces basic blueprint reading skills commonly used in the racing parts fabrication and customization. Areas of study include: Interpretation of drawings dimensioned and noted to ANSI standards for machining, welding, and fabrication applications, inspection techniques, and CAD (Computer Assisted Design) fundamentals using AutoCADĀ© to create shop floor drawings. This course also introduces reverse engineering, automated inspection, and rapid prototyping techniques.
