This course will explore the causes and effects of racial and gender stereotyping, prejudice, and discrimination on the individual, institutional, and cultural level. Emphasis will be on education, the workplace, interpersonal relations, and communication. SOCW348 Intervention with Abused Child ( 1) ( EDWS370) This course is designed to acquaint the student with the different types of child abuse, family dynamics, and profiles of victims and offenders. Knowledge of various intervention strategies will be imparted.
