Students will discuss characters, language, lines and scenes and identify central themes in his works, especially in light of major social forces of the Elizabethan era. Scholarly writing incorporating primary and secondary source materials pertinent to the study of Shakespeare is required. Prerequisites: ENG 101, ENG 102.
