The course will focus on identifying problems and developing procedures for effective classroom management to foster school learning in pupils who have disabilities or problems in social adjustment or impulse control. Individual and group discipline problems will be addressed with an emphasis on identifying and structuring the antecedents and consequences for pupil behavior. Includes functional behavioral assessment. Fieldwork is required. Prerequisites: Grade of C+ or better in PSY 3401 and 85% or better in all three Educational Proficiency Examinations.
