High school mathematics content is studied through a lens then enables students to deepen their understanding of mathematics by making connections between mathematical ideas, seeing the content in new contexts, applying mathematics in a range of settings, and understand the historical development of ideas. Topics include: Euclidean congruence, transformational congruence, symmetry, distance, similarity, trigonometry, area, volume, axiomatic systems and the Cartesian model of the Euclidean Plane. Prerequisite: MTH 2530, MTH 3060.
