This course is designed to introduce students to the methods and materials used with childhood aged school pupils (1-6) for comprehension and study in the content areas. The goal of this course is to help students understand how pupils read to learn. Students will study and apply various strategies to teach pupils with and without disabilities in group and classroom settings. Fieldwork is required. Prerequisite: A grade of C+ or better in ED 3061.
