Students will: a) learn a variety of curriculum models used in both regular and special education; b) become familiar with the purpose and contents of NYS Learning Standards in basic skills and content areas; and c) learn to develop goals and objectives, hierarchical task analyses and resource unit plans. All such plans will include teaching elements identified by research as effective for pupils with and without disabilities. Prerequisite: ED 2051 and 85% or better on all three Education Proficiency Examinations.
