Students will learn to distinguish among and apply a variety of teaching approaches, such as discovery learning, direct instruction and inquiry-based learning. They will learn to: a) individualize procedures to accommodate the needs of students including those with disabilities; and b) regularly infuse use of technology to engage students in active learning. Field work is required. Prerequisite: A grade of C+ or better in ED 2501. learners, and students with disabilities will be studied. Fieldwork is required. Prerequisite: A grade of C+ or better in ED 3331 or approval of the instructor. Co-requisites: ED 3401-3461.
