Provides the student with an understanding of vertebrate morphology and evolution. Students will study the morphology of the various groups of vertebrates. Morphological adaptation will be related to organism function in the context of evolution. Laboratory work includes dissection of the amphioxus, lamprey, necturus, shark and cat. 3 hours lecture; 3 hours lab Prerequisite: BIO 1040 or 1140.
