This course is intended to develop an understanding of the interconnectedness of organisms, the environment and the processes of evolution. Organisms will be studied in an interrelated manner revolving around how they have evolved to exist in a particular environment. Laboratories will emphasize experimental design, statistical analysis, and the development of basic ecological models using spreadsheet software. Prerequisites: BIO 1140 or BIO 1040, CHM 1510 and satisfaction of Mount computer literacy requirement.
