Technology Literacy for Education provides the student an opportunity to build on the basic skills and concepts learned in the prerequisite course(s). This class will focus on the applications of technology to the educational classroom environment. Students must demonstrate ability to use and ability to teach others to use the various aspects of educational technology. Skills learned in this class will include: word processing, educational software, drawing and presentation software, Internet applications and digital media. Other educational concepts addressed will include managing technology in the classroom, addressing needs of diverse learners, and enhancing classroom methodology and teaching with technology. Prerequisite: INFS1020 or INFS1050
