The principle concentration of this course is the examination of the philosophical contributions of ancient Greek and Roman philosophers. Occasional references will be made to the Medieval achievement in philosophy. The course focuses on philosophical methodology, theories of reality, ethics, theories of knowledge, political and social ideas.
