2 Credits Business,Professional Studies Recreation Leadership This course introduces the techniques of coaching soccer at the youth level. The course covers the fundamentals of conditioning, warm-ups, and injury prevention. Students will learn what skills should be taught to players new to the game, what reasonable expectations are in youth-level soccer, and how to plan practices for the optimum use of time. The ?laws? of the game will be taught and interpreted, allowing the student to acquire a basic ability to officiate.
