3 Credits Math,Science,ENGR, & TECH Mathematics The following topics are covered in this noncalculus based course: the organization of data, central tendency and dispersion, probability, binomial and normal distribution, hypothesis testing, correlation, regression, and the Chi-square distribution. A scientific hand-held calculator is required. Prerequisite: MAT 105 or high school equivalent (see Guidelines for Mathematics Placement, p. 178).
