Environmental Forum is a two credit course offered to all students in the Colleges of the Fenway. Weekly lectures about contemporary environmental issues given by local, regional and national experts will inform and offer students the opportunity to engage on a range of topics related to the environment. The course also includes a Service Learning component on a local environmental topic area related to Sustainable Energy Students in this course will learn about and discuss: ?t Principles of Sustainability ?t Understanding Energy ? What it is (and what it isn?t) ?t How to Evaluate the true cost of Energy ?t Energy and Social Justice ?t Energy and Health ?t Climate change ?t Renewable Energy ?t Alternative Energy ?t Geopolitics of Energy One theme of this course is to demonstrate that environmental problems are best solved by the collective expertise of a wide range of informed individuals. In offering this course, COF hopes to attract a diverse makeup of students in varying programs from the COF community.
