This course further explores the core areas of corporate finance. Topics include the cost of capital and its relationship to the financial structure of the firm, factors determining the cost of equity, and the cost of debt. Capital budgeting techniques are covered in the context of valuing long term investment projects. Finally, techniques of short-term financial management such as receivable management, credit management and working capital management are studied. Prerequisite: FI 315A. Four hours per week.
