This course is an introduction to the study of macromolecules. The relationship between molecular structure and physical and chemical properties is discussed. Synthesis of polymers is systematically reviewed, with emphasis on commercial procedures. Prerequisite: CH 222A. Offered upon sufficient demand. Three lectures per week.
