A study of the issues in natural resource and environmental policy. Considers institutions and programs affecting resource use and the impact on environmental quality; the impact of pollution on production; the determination of who bears the costs and who reaps the benefits of pollution abatement; the institutional changes necessary to protect the environment, and current problems and solutions. Prerequisite: EC 201A. Satisfies the social science distribution requirement. Three hours a week.
