An approach to drawing and its values through studio experience. Seeing is emphasized through a series of exercises involving figure and still-life drawing primarily concentrating on line. Light and dark values are investigated later in the course. Abstraction is briefly considered. Satisfies the humanities distribution requirement. Three hours a week.
