Emphasis on such playwrights as Kyd, Marlowe, Jonson, Shakespeare, Webster, Middleton, and Ford, and on placing Shakespeare’s plays within the context of Renaissance drama. Before 1800. Satisfies the humanities distribution requirement. Three hours a week.
